Unfortunately, this partner is no longer participating in the Berlin WelcomeCard. Thankfully, many great offers have been added! You can find a list of all the current Berlin WelcomeCard and Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive partners here.
Berlin's only ropeway is not only a sustainable means of transport for local residents and Berliners, but also invites all of the city's guests to take a fascinating short trip at airy heights. From the U5 underground station Kienberg (Gärten der Welt), passengers float in just 5 minutes over the Kienbergpark and the Wuhletal from Marzahn to Hellersdorf and directly to the Gärten der Welt. Here, visitors can go on a trip around the world in just one day!
The spectacular view from the cable car, from a height of up to 35 metres, reaches as far as the centre of Berlin. With an intermediate stop at the Wolkenhain viewing platform, the cable car runs for a total length of 1.5 kilometres.
Berlin: The lovable metropolis
Multicultural Berlin is a magnet for adventurous and enterprising travellers who are attracted both by the city’s unique cultural scene as well as its architectural and historical sights. The city inspires visitors with a wide variety of architectural predilections thanks to its iconic monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate, the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz and the modern glass buildings at Potsdamer Platz. Party-goers plunge into the city’s vibrant club scene, while history enthusiasts can learn something new about German history at the German Historical Museum or delve into the world of antiquity at the Pergamon Museum. Berlin also boasts a unique charm due to the fact that holidaymakers can take a break from everyday life in nature here: the city's parks and the Ropeway Berlin invite you to do so!
