Body

Aboard the Elektro-Trabi-Safari, see Berlin in an iconic German vehicle, the Trabant. This relic of East Berlin is a charming car, and riders join a 'train' of them on an urban safari adventure through the city. Moving away from the more obvious and busy areas of town, tours include seeing Kreuzberg, the Oberbaum Bridge and the East Side Gallery. This is a fun and engaging way to tour Berlin's historic sights, and with the Berlin WelcomeCard guests save 25% on admission. The card also opens up free use of public transport, among other great benefits.

See Historic Berlin

The German capital is one of the world's most fascinating cities. Its vast size, long and dramatic relationship with the rest of Europe, and range of cultural hotspots make it a very special destination. Among Berlin's most iconic landmarks are the Brandenburg Gate, built in the 18th century to celebrate the Batavian Revolution. The remains of the Berlin Wall tell the story of a divided Germany, and there are a cluster of world-class institutions to visit on Museum Island. With a ride on the Elektro-Trabi-Safari, travellers get to see many sights of former East Berlin, ending near to excellent galleries, clubs, cafés and restaurants.

Aboard the Elektro-Trabi-Safari

Open year round, this is a wonderful way to see another side of the city with all the family in tow. Each Trabant can fit up to three adults and a child, two adults and two children, or larger groups can be split into their own cars. The Trabant itself is an enduring symbol of classic German design. On the tour itself, riders follow the convoy and are guided via radio as they pass the sights. Starting at Mitte (Downtown Berlin), visitors see the eastern side of the city and can savour the experience of driving this rather unique vehicle, which is rarely seen outside of Germany these days.

Other Benefits of the Berlin WelcomeCard

As well as enjoying a generous 25% off your ticket price, you can make the most of the German capital when you get the Berlin WelcomeCard. This include discounts on everything from city attractions, to theatre performances and even bar and restaurant bills. Plus, zip around the city at your leisure, including unlimited S-Bahn (suburban rail), U-bahn (underground), bus and tram journeys. You'll always save money and won't have to worry about the hassle of individual tickets for trips.

There are two routes to choose from and tours are conducted in German and English (and other languages on demand).

Use coupon code WCB19 when booking at www.trabi-world.com.
